SERID '98
Expanding Horizons -
A Peak into the 21st Century
Nov. 1 - 4
DSS sent 5 of its employees to the 28th annual SERID (SouthEast Regional Institute on Deafness) convention in Asheville, NC.  The convention focused technology for the 21st century.  Participants left with a renewed vision of what deaf persons can accomplish.
Some of the favorite activities at the conference were: shopping in the vendors hall, seeing "Sweet Honey in the Rock" perform, and waiting to see what the next great door prize would be.
